Position Summary :
Provides services for the identified sport or activities per the specific job description.
Department : High School Athletics or Activities
Reports to : Assistant Principal for Athletics or Activities
Supervises : May supervise assistant coaches, auxiliary coaches or volunteers as assigned
Training and Experience :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience in a similar position preferred
- Successful experience working with students
- Must meet all background requirements
Licensing and Certification Requirements :
- National Federation of State High Schools Association (NFHSA) certification.
- Valid DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Valid Arizona teacher or Substitute certification.
- Obtain appropriate training and certification to transport students in the white buses. Training must be completed within two weeks of beginning employment.
