Key Responsibilities :
- Bookkeeping : Accurately manage and maintain clients' financial records, including reconciling bank statements, monitoring transactions, and maintaining general ledgers.
- Payroll : Process payroll for clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Tax Preparation : Assist in preparing individual and business tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Financial Statements : Assist in the preparation of financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Client Communication : Communicate with clients to resolve discrepancies, answer queries, and provide support as needed.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with payroll processing and tax preparation.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations and laws.
