This is a first shift position scheduled Monday-Thursday 4 : 00am-2 : 30pm. The hourly rate of pay is $21.90. This opening is located at our Plant on Route 30 in Gettysburg.

The Press Operator monitors and cleans press equipment to ensure quality standards are met.

Major Functions and Scope :

• Monitors efficient operation of press equipment within control plans.
• Identifies minor mechanical problems and performs adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Performs routine cleaning of equipment as needed for color changes.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Education and Knowledge :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience :

0 -1 year previous manufacturing / production experience.

Competencies :

• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
• Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.
