IMMEDIATE NEED!! CBIZ has been engaged by our well established Glen Oaks, NY based Real Estate client, to identify a Purchasing Administrator .
MUST have 2+ years of Purchasing or Supply Chain experience and excellent follow-up skills. Will have sole responsibility for Purchasing function.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update purchasing records and spreadsheets daily.
- Submit regular updates and reports to the Finance Manager.
- Review and facilitate procurement process from requisition to purchase order, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor a large volume of purchase orders, following-up on open orders to ensure completion in a timely manner.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with various vendors.
- Request estimates, review vendor bids, and summarize differences.
- Monitor vendor performance and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Research goods and services to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Maintain the purchase order system with up-to-date information.
- Obtain and file insurance information for vendors, ensuring adequate and effective liability and workers' compensation insurance.
- Review office supply room inventory and submit restock order.
Requirements
- 2+ Years of relevant purchasing or supply chain experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Procurify software experience a plus.
Pay : $55-65K DOE plus outstanding benefits!
