Acute Home Healthcare, Inc a thriving 5-Star home healthcare agency, is immediately seeking a Qualified, Detail-Oriented, Intake referral Coordinator to assist our team and manage each referral that comes in.
Our Home Healthcare Referral Coordinator primary responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Screening Cases for Wounds and IV's
- Entering Patients in the KanTime Database
- Obtaining Authorization for Homecare Services
- Verifying Insurance Eligibility
- Accepting Cases from Insurance Companies
- Verify via Medicare Portal for Any Open MSP's
- Request Home Health Orders from PCP's, Hospitals, and Specialists
- Confirm Patient's PCP's
- Assist Patient's with Any Questions, Comments, or Concerns
- Work Closely with Nurse Case Managers to Accept Cases
- Schedule Nurses, PTs, OTs, and Speech Therapists
- Schedule Home Health Aids and Social Workers
- Receive and Forward Faxes to Correct Departments
- Collect Co-Payments
- And More

Home Health referral Coordinator skills required
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Outstanding Customer Service Skills
- Doctor Office Experience (Minimum 1 year)
- Must be Willing to Work Overtime
- Reasonable Healthcare Experience (2-3 years)
