L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Senior Project Manager.
You'll lead multiple, concurrent development programs through proposal, funding, development, qualification and volume production for our client in the Aerospace industry based in Parsippany, NJ.
- Initiating activity within client site to satisfy customer contract scope / statement of work -Proactively drive achievement of major milestones and high customer satisfaction -Using industry experience to recognize and preemptively address technical, cost, and schedule risks -Act as primary point of contact for assigned customers -Creation and release of project Work Breakdown Structure with approved budgets-Creation and maintenance of project Integrated Master Schedule -Facilitating IPD Process compliance by completing required Initiating Activities, Design Reviews, and Gate Review requirements.
- Facilitate internal and customer weekly team meetings / telecons with documentation of minutes and maintenance of Action Item Lists-Create Monthly Program Review materials for assigned projects and presenting to Executive Leadership-Provide Program Management support of new business proposals;
- create PM deliverables to the management volume-Manage Bids for new, or follow-on, business proposals-Achievement of NRE Cost, Design to Cost, and Schedule performance against budget for assigned projects-Review and creation of material and / or labor plans and cost reports-Resolution and coordination of project cost, schedule, and technical performance issues-Monitor and control of project scope-Escalation of issues or risks that cannot be resolved at the project team level-Maintain high customer satisfaction for assigned projects-Identifying opportunities to grow business content with associated projects and customers-Supporting significant proposals with related PMO inputs-Initiating and scrubbing proposal Bases of Estimates and Schedules-Abide by all safety, quality, and company policies / procedures to ensure compliance to various regulatory and internal system requirements-Bachelor's degree in Engineering required-4- 7 years of program management experience-PMP certification preferred-Experience working within aerospace or a similar technical field preferred-Experience with Additive Manufacturing technologies is a plus-Highly analytical and detail-oriented-Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project expertise-Effective verbal and written communication skills -Intimate knowledge of people management skills, particularly influence management and conflict resolution-General knowledge of operations, including scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, test engineering, and quality systems-Exemplary verbal / written communication skills required for multifaceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organization, as well as any and all outside agents, including but not limited to;
vendors, suppliers, customers, etc.-Strong attention to detail and follow-up
