In this role, you will :

  • As a Logistics Planner, you will be required to : Work the add & delete reports in assigned areas; Print and maintain labels for ILC (inbound logistics center) racks, flow racks, hose racks, kits, floor locations in assigned areas;
  • Assist logistics engineers with identifying and editing standard work issues; Work with logistics engineer and manufacturing engineers to implement layout changes and improvements;
  • Run daily and weekly performance-based metrics; Daily production dialogs with the team and management; Perform periodic audits;
  • Address equipment, fixture, tool, process, quality, delivery issues ; Identify and drive to completion team-controlled improvements;

and responsible for area 5S (set, sort, shine, standardize, sustain) conformance.

Pay Rate and Schedule :

  • Position includes a wage of $21.75 / hour and a comprehensive benefit program!
  • Openings available on 1st shift : Monday Friday, 7 a.m. 3 p.m. Overtime and some Saturdays will be required in some situations to meet business needs

What you will have :

  • 1-3 years of experience in Microsoft Office Products
  • 1-3 years of experience in Manufacturing

Top Candidates will also have :

  • Experience in Logistics or Supply Chain
  • Experience driving mobile equipment
  • Experience with SAP or other WM systems

  • Strong commitment to PQVC (people, quality, velocity, cost) and demonstrates decision-making ability

Physical Requirements

  • Constantly stands on concrete floors while completing tasks. Walks on concrete floors frequently to constantly throughout the shift.
  • Occasionally lifts 10-20 lbs. Occasionally lifts 20-35 lbs. Rarely lifts 35-50lbs. Rarely, the employee may need to hold in a static position with sustained reaching to the waist to head range while holding 10-15 lbs
  • Occasionally pushes / pulls carts requiring 60 pounds of force up to approximately 40 feet.
  • Occasionally uses manual hand tools to open containers and secure parts.
  • Occasionally works outside during day, hot / cold, and rarely during precipitation events.
  • Occasionally kneels or squats to scan tags or lift materials.
  • Occasionally may twist or bend while reaching into containers to identify or lift material.
  • Reaches with hands / arms in any direction from approximately 3 inches off the floor to overhead range on an occasional basis in any direction.
  • Occasionally operates heavy equipment or machinery.
  • Frequently bends the neck forward. Occasionally twists the neck, tilts the neck sideways or extends the neck to look in different directions.

On a rare basis, the employee may have to hold their neck in a static position for a few minutes at a time.

Handling : Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hand or hands, constantly with a light to moderate grip.

Occasionally, a forceful grip maybe needed.

  • Rare exposure to pulse / impact tools.
  • Frequently uses fingers to operate computer.
