- Job Summary Ambulatory Resource Team Nurse is a professional nurse who assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for patients / families in multiple clinic areas within Ambulatory Operations based on licensure and competency.
- Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Experience Associate degree or diploma at least one year of recent nursing experience required, preferably in pediatrics, preferably in outpatient setting.
OR BSN or MSN a minimum of 6 months experience preferred, preferably in pediatrics, preferably in outpatient setting
Licensures, Certifications, and / or Registries Current RN license in the State of Alabama. Current BLS Certification

The division of Pulmonary Medicine specializes in the treatment of patients with a variety of lung and sleep disorders. Specialty clinics include : General Pulmonary Medicine, Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis (CF), Technology Dependence / Home Ventilators, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD), Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD), and Sleep (including Behavioral Sleep Disorders, Snore, and CPAP / BiPAP management).
Board Certified Pulmonologists, Academic Fellows, Residents and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners provide care in this department.
Nurses, respiratory therapists, social workers, and nutritionists are also a part of the interdisciplinary team.
