We are seeking a superstar Paraplanner in the financial advisory industry to join our well-established, dynamic, and growing Investment Advisory Firm in Raleigh, North Carolina .
This person will be the right hand to our President and Lead Advisor for the firm in implementing and servicing financial plans for our clients. Minimum Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years of financial industry operations experience including paraplanning and client service work, with a proven history of success supporting high performing advisor(s).
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Health (Medicare) & Life Insurance Licensed, Series 65
- CFP certification preferred, but not mandatory
- Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities :
Stay one step ahead of the advisor : Prepare advisor for prospective and existing client meetings by briefing upcoming meetings and staying ahead of necessary to-dos.
Follow through on post-meeting client service action items.
- Prepare account-opening applications, transfers, client service and other administrative paperwork in a highly detailed and accurate manner.
- Work directly with clients to execute service work including : account openings, transfers, service requests, and other advisory requests from advisor and / or clients
- Prepare and Update Financial Plans, Investment Allocation models, Insurance proposals, and client meeting presentations
- Monitor and maintain firm-wide cash management, portfolio rebalancing, client portal access, and firm billing.
- Serve as an extension of the lead advisor in both written and verbal communication.
- Communicate professionally as a subject matter expert, with clients and service providers on updates and follow up needs.
- Receive incoming client service requests (by phone and email) and execute accordingly.
- Successfully juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment, especially when dynamic needs of clients arise.
- Input detailed notes, compliance, status updates, and other items into our CRM.
- Assist in setting client meetings on the lead advisor’s calendar.
- Execute other administrative financial planning tasks and other team-wide duties as needs arise.
Salary :
$80,000-$100,000
Hours :
- Monday -Friday : 9 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm (hybrid)
- Occasional need to work event and or weekend for client events
