Role :
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Collection Specialist where you will play an important part of the ASP EMEA Credit and Customer Financing team located in Germany, or in the Netherlands.
You will be part of a dynamic and growing team and responsible for the daily Collection activities of Germany and other markets in EMEA.
There will be lots of opportunities for development and learning in this fast-moving and results-orientated company which places a heavy emphasis on continuous improvement both for the company and you.
Location : Germany / Netherlands
How you will contribute to ASP :
- Monitor customer accounts to identify outstanding debts
- Investigate historical data for aged debt
- Contact clients to ask about their overdue payments
- Take actions to encourage timely payments
- Resolve financial disputes and customer credit block issues
- Update account status records and collection efforts
- Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status
- Any other assigned work by your management team
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
- Performs other duties assigned as needed.
What will make you thrive in this role :
- Middle Degree level in Accounting or a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting
- Minimum of 2.5 years of practical experience in a similar role
- Fluency in English and German (other European or Middle East languages - good to have)
- Highly diligent and organized
- Ability to travel and visit customers on site
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and third parties
- At least 2 years of SAP Experience (FI and CM)
- Excel skills
