M1 is looking for an NDI Mechanic with the following knowledge and experience : DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES* Detects flaws such as cracks, dellaminations, voids, processing defects and heat damage using penetrant, eddy current,magnetic particle, ultrasonic and radiographic test on aerospace weapon systems and components.

• Operate, maintain, and inspect the nondestructive equipment and perform operator maintenance and process controls on shopequipment and tools.
• Proficient in metals identification, detecting metals discontinuities and flaws, radiological safety and radiation monitoringprocedures and interpreting technical orders and directives.
• The ability to possess a valid NAS 410 Level II certification or equivalent as directed by the Government in all 5 disciplinesand meet the vision standard specified in the NAS 410.
• Occasionally required to perform duties of Aircraft Mechanic or less skill Classification* A minimum of 3 years experience in NDI / NDTIn addition, the candidate should possess the following requirements : * High School Diploma or equivalent* Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English* Perform duties as outlined in purpose of position* Maintain a clean and organized work place* Reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining aprofessional and non-confrontational attitude.
