LHH is currently recruiting for a strong Senior Accountant to join a reputable company in the Portland area. This role will work closely with the corporate accounting team and Controller but reports into another senior manager who also covers the treasury side.
The ideal person will have some technical accounting understanding for various projects or needs that come up.

Job Oversight :
Financial Reporting for private company
Improvement of various internal reporting on performance and financial activity, tie outs
Mapping and heavy use of large data sets
US GAAP Accounting, Journal Entries, Reconciliation, Month End Close the more technical pieces
Technical accounting research and ability to determine correct accounting research not a huge portion of the job, but want someone who can handle this as it comes up
Ideal Profile :
BS in Accounting or related
2-5 years of Big 4 or mid-large public accounting firms
CPA strongly desired, may bend for someone close to having the license
Strong Excel skills
