Job Title : Engineering Lead
Location : Denver / Boulder preferred (remote possible)
Our client is building operational software focused on improving efficiency in key areas like scheduling, workflow automation, and tracking for an industry that needs it! Our team is passionate about creating intuitive, easy-to-use tools for enterprise clients in the agriculture, supply chain or manufacturing space.
Role Overview :
Were seeking a hands-on MERN Stack Engineering Lead who will dedicate 85-90% of their time to product development. This role is ideal for a fullstack engineer with product experience, who can contribute technically while providing light mentorship.
The focus will be on building practical, user-friendly software solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead development of fullstack solutions using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
- Collaborate with product management to create tools for operational efficiency (scheduling, workflow automation, etc.).
- Work closely with leadership to help shape technical strategy and execution.
- Provide guidance to junior developers while maintaining a primary focus on hands-on coding.
- Contribute to product discussions without engaging in design tools like Figma.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in fullstack development using the MERN stack .
- Strong experience in enterprise software development (e.g., scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing systems).
- Product management experience or understanding of user-focused development.
- Startup experience with a demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Knowledge of the Ag space , manufacturing, or supply chain sectors is a plus.
- Comfortable balancing coding with light leadership responsibilities.
