Duties and responsibilities are limited to those that fall under the scope of practice of unlicensed respiratory therapist acting under the direction of a licensed respiratory therapist, in order to ensure quality and continuity of patient care;
This position accepts and supports the philosophy, purpose and objectives of Baptist Health and the Department of Respiratory Care.
These will include but are not limited to selected technical skills, data collection, lab specimen collection.
Must qualify for student status by the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy AND OR recent graduate with a temporary license from the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Care.
BCLS certification. Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.Must have good verbal communication skills in person and on the telephone.
Must be able to see within close and distant ranges and distinguish colors.Basic Life Support (BLS); temp license if applicable
