The Procurement Lead manages the overall supply chain and logistics functions to maximize efficiency and minimize costs to the company.
Responsibilities :
- Develop Supply Chain strategies to enhance efficiency and align with company policies.
- Manage direct reports, ensuring employee development, performance, and compliance with EHS standards.
- Oversee Supply Chain systems and maintain inventory and vendor master records.
- Ensure project milestones and departmental goals are met within budget.
- Build and manage internal and external relationships with contractors, suppliers, and distributors.
- Draft, negotiate, execute, and manage contracts, including close-out, extension, or renewal processes.
- Communicate clearly with using Word / Excel to provide situational updates.
- Monitor vendor qualifications and performance to meet company standards.
- Oversee the RFx process to ensure optimal Total Cost of Ownership.
- Advise project management on contractual issues and assist with resolution.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years as a Supply Chain Lead in mining or manufacturing in a time-sensitive environment
- Previous experience in robust RFx / Contracts processes
- Proficient in ERP systems
