4 Corner Resources is looking for a Healthcare Telecom Operator for one of the largest hospitals in Florida! The shifts we are looking to fill is Sunday to Thursday (Friday and Saturday OFF) 6am to 2 : 30pm shift, 2pm to 10 : 30pm shift, and a 10pm to 6 : 30am shift.
Schedules are subject to change based on business needs. This opportunity is 100% onsite role.

Healthcare Switchboard Operator Essential Job Functions :
Answer the switchboard in a calm and professional manner.
Page all personnel as authorized in department procedures in a professional manner.
Verify, and record all emergency calls.
Monitor all alarm indicators located in the operator room : medical gas alarm, oxygen line pressure, fire alarm panel and report immediately to the Engineering department when monitors go into alarm.
Monitor dedicated CODE phone line at switchboard and respond immediately if alarms activate as authorized.
Accurately transfer calls to the correct extension or department.
Review and record information in the Communication Journal, including codes, customer / employer complaints, equipment problems / repairs, notable incidents, safety issues and concerns, and any other information that needs to be communicated to other shifts.
Healthcare Switchboard Operator Requirements :
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Operator and / or customer service experience or motivation to learn.
Must work well under extreme pressure and have excellent communication skills.
Experience with a switchboard / phone operating system a plus not required.
Experience working in a hospital environment preferred not required.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, overnights, and weekends.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
Must be 100% nicotine free.
Must pass drug screen, TB test, and background check and provide proof of MMR vaccination prior to start of employment.
Healthcare Switchboard Operator Hours :
Must be open to working Sunday to Thursday on one of these three shifts :
6am to 2 : 30pm
2pm to 10 : 30pm
10pm to 6 : 30am
Healthcare Switchboard Operator Starting Pay Rate :
$16.00 per hour
