Job Description :

As Product Owner, you are accountable to a senior leader of Agency Operations to balance business needs to deliver strategic market advantage by identifying meaningful technical product features that solve business problems and deliver high-quality technology products.

This is a hybrid-office position and requires regular attendance in one of the following locations : Minnetonka, MN; Tampa, FL;

Bedford, NH; Fairfield, CT; Andover, MA; Wayne, PA. Fully remoted applicants are NOT being considered at this time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Execute the technology product strategy in line with product vision and roadmap, focusing on the delivery of product roadmap features
  • Articulate, build, refine, and maintain the product backlog items
  • Prioritize backlog items to best achieve product goals and ensure the backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders and team to translate the product roadmap features into well-defined User Stories, including requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Prioritize User Stories for the Scrum team
  • Continuously engage with the Scrum team to answer questions and remove roadblocks to ensure successful delivery of product features
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing
  • Participate in End User Demos and gather feedback for future product enhancements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments, including development, design, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure alignment to deliver high quality and consistent products to the organization's users
  • Develop change management plans and communication efforts to support adoption and ensure business readiness for changes
  • Accountable for maximizing the value of the product team

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

  • Minimum 3 years experience in title / settlement or related fields or 3 years experience in the settlement software industry desired
  • Minimum 2 years prior experience as a Product Owner with demonstrated success
  • SAFe or Scrum Alliance Product Owner certification preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and customer service skills that cultivate strong working relationships across the product team
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook

PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS :

  • At a minimum, the ability to work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time
  • Ability to foster, develop, and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees, and customers by email, phone, and in person
  • Ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions and deadlines throughout the workday
  • Must be personable, positive, and a professional representative of the Company
  • Ability to maintain trusted and confidential information
  • Ability to accept supervision
  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance is required
  • Repetitive and continual keyboard activity and interaction with display monitors are required

Sedentary work : The majority of activity in this position involves sedentary work including sitting, standing, walking and the occasional need to lift or move objects.
