The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets.
JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.
The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) within JOID provides analytical, technical, and program support to promote, grow, and protect the .
industrial base. ISAG’s support spans the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Commerce, and other agencies to deliver critical decision support to national security leaders.
Our team informs policy decisions, enables execution of comprehensive strategies and monitors and reports on the effectiveness of implementation.

We have a near-term need for a National Programs and Policy Support Staff Officer to provide onsite support at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities
The National Programs and Policy Support Staff Officer will support OUSD (I&S)'s National Programs and Policy Support Directorate in their mission to provide oversight, governance, and integration.
The candidate will apply technical knowledge, conduct research and analysis to provide recommendations for intelligence-related activities with respect to the National Defense Strategy, the priorities of the Secretary of Defense, USD (I&S) strategic objectives, and decisions involving National Security Council directed requirements.
The candidate will conduct research, coordinate, and synchronize special access capabilities and other sensitive activities to provide enhanced operational integration and collaboration across the DoD, Intelligence Community, and broader Federal interagency enterprise.
The candidate will prepare reports, briefings, senior-level correspondence, and staff action packages to support OUSD (I&S) requirements.
Qualifications
Required :
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years of experience supporting sensitive activities and national security requirements within the DoD or Intelligence Community and mission integration on a military or interagency staff
- Active TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility
Desired :
- Master's Degree
- Experience supporting OUSD (I&S)
