Position : Inventory Analyst
Shift : 1st shist
Location : Fort Worth, TX
Key Responsibilities :
- Establish and maintain Cycle Count programs
- Works with Receiving Manager to implement policies, practices, and procedures to improve the control of inventory
- Assists Distribution Operations Manager in optimizing layout of A,B,C items in the Fort Worth Distribution Center by utilizing zones and pick sequences in MAS500
- Maintains all inventory related documentation and information, to include NAFTA, Compliance docs, etc
- Provide statistical analysis of all inventory aspects
- Assists in planning of production activity in Packaging Department
- Monitors sales of items to determine stocking levels of packaged product
- Drives data integrity in ERP and WMS systems
- Assists in directing the annual physical inventory along with the Inventory Manager and the Distribution Operations Manager
- Power user and trainer for Inventory Module of ERP and WMS Systems
- Must be able to work independently
- Oversees and coordinates physical inventories
- Perform all other tasks as required when assigned
Required Capabilities :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Advanced level position, previous job experience or education required.
- Excellent math and documentation skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Willing to work overtime when necessary.
- Experience managing employees.
- Prior experience providing direction to other personnel.
- Ability to work a variety of jobs.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Essential Functions :
- Ability to communicate professionally via telephone and electronically at various organizational levels
- Must be able to hear / understand / speak with team members at all levels within a diverse workforce
- Must be able to walk / climb to a variety of primary work locations, stand for extended periods of time
- Must be comfortable working with or around material handling equipment
