About the job : As a ClinicalTrainee , under the treatment supervision of a licensed mental healthprofessional / Treatment Supervisor or Treatment Director, provides a client withclient education, rehabilitative mental health services, diagnosticassessments, functional assessments, level of care assessments, and treatmentplans.
Essential job responsibilities include, but notlimited to :
- Providedirection to mental health behavioral aides and mental health rehabilitationworkers.
- Attendweekly treatment meetings on-site.
- Assistwith coordination of admissions, facilitate treatment groups and individualmeetings with persons served, and provide support to maintain treatmentservices, such as support in the development of individual treatment plans,individual abuse prevention plans, and other treatment services provided undergoverning authorities.
Qualifications :
- Must be enrolled in an accredited graduateprogram of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as amental health professional, and participating in a practicum or internship withthe license holder through the individual’s graduate program; or
- has completed an accredited graduate program ofstudy to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental healthprofessional and who is in compliance with the requirements of the applicablehealth-related licensing board, including requirements for supervised practice.
