Job Description
- Provide in person interpreting for families
- Facilitate communication between parents / caregivers and early intervention staff.
- Schedule visits for early intervention staff
- Provide interpreting services for early intervention visits including intake, evaluation and home visits.
- $25-30 per hour
Qualifications
- Verbal fluency in both English and language of specific population served.
- Interpreting experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for in person interpreting services
- Understanding of interpreter role in encouraging and fostering direct communication between provider and parent / caregiver.
