A food manufacturing company is seeking some Bilingual English / Spanish FOOD Production Supervisors to join their team in Garden Grove, CA .
This position is responsible for the day-to-day running of production processes in all types of manufacturing operations.
Knowledge of OSHA safety, HACCP, SQF systems , 2-3 years of supervisory experience with , and the ability to speak Spanish are required.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with excellent benefits and 401k. Work hours : Midnight-2 positions 23 : 00-7 : 30 or Afternoon 15 : 00-23 : 30
Bilingual English / Spanish Production Supervisor Duties :
- Manage and develop production employees to achieve established goals of safety, environmental performance, production volume, quality, service, and cost.
- Ensure production employees are properly oriented and trained
- Review, analyze and make recommendations regarding safety, environmental performance, quality, expenses, and productivity,
planning and organizing staff shift schedules and tasks
- Reporting plant or machinery breakdowns to maintenance technicians
- Motivating your team
- Producing management reports on performance
- Monitoring quality control
- Organizing production control records
- Identifying and organizing training needs
- Conducting Internal self-audits (monthly)
- Conducting monthly training seminars (GMPs, SSOPs, SOPs.)
- Production record keeping (conventional and Organic)
Bilingual English / Spanish Production Supervisor Skills :
- Basic computer skill
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory position
- Knowledge of OSHA Safety
- Knowledge of HACCP, SQF systems
- Spanish bilingual preferred (Speaking)
- English Level Proficient (Reading, Writing, Speaking)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate all levels of personnel
