We are seeking experienced early childhood teachers to provide care and education for our students.
All candidates should be flexible in their availability to work within the facilities operating hours of 6 : 00 a.m.
to 6 : 30 p.m.
We would like for the candidate to have worked in a childcare setting for 2 years plus, have great communication skills, is highly motivated and eager to learn, and can work in a fast-paced environment.
Prefer a candidate to have a CDL (Commercial Driver's License) or willing to obtain one (not required)
Requirements
Be a self-starter with patience and the ability to make good judgment calls; must demonstrate qualities of self-motivation, creativity, reliability, and dependability.
Must have and maintain a satisfactory criminal background in accordance with state and federal requirements.
Have the ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 30 pounds.
Maintain certification in CPR and First Aid training or be willing to become certified once hired.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
All tasks are to be performed in accordance with Kids R’ Kids Quality Assurance and Education policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulatory agencies.
Job Description
- Implement teamwork with co-teacher in executing activities and classroom tasks in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice, and program philosophy.
- Implement curriculum created by Kids 'R' Kids in the classroom.
- Meet the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive needs of each child.
- Maintain daily open communication with parents and confidentiality
- Arrange a classroom environment in accordance with program goals and philosophy and maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Keep all appropriate daily records to satisfy Kids R’ Kids, state, health, and federal requirements.
- Know rules and regulations for state minimum standards and operate your classroom in accordance with these standards.
- Adhere to Texas Rising Star Standards to maintain accreditation.
- Report progress of children to parents through parent-teacher conferences and / or assessments.
