The Manager of Financial Reporting is a significant management role that drives the worldwide financial reporting process and preparation of the consolidated financial statements of the Company.
This role involves significant interaction with cross-functional leaders and finance leaders globally. As such, the manager must exhibit solid leadership, accounting / financial acumen, and communication skills to engage effectively with peer and senior leaders.
This position is part of the Chief Accounting Officer organization based in Davidson, NC, and reports to the Senior Manager of Technical Accounting, Reporting and Policy.
The Manager will be responsible for managing a team of (3) direct reports, be an important leader in the Chief Accounting Officer organization and must be an effective advisor to the Chief Accounting Officer on accounting and financial reporting matters.
The Manager must be effective in engaging and collaborating with cross-functional leaders including Tax, Treasury, Technical Accounting & External Reporting, Financial Systems, FP&A, M&A, and Investor Relations Functions.

Where is the work :
This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule, based out of our Davidson, NC location, with work performed onsite 3 days each week.
Responsibilities :
- Manage team responsible for the preparation and distribution of monthly consolidated income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows and related schedules
- Quarterback monthly enterprise-wide close process; setting close calendar, monitoring, and driving close activities to align with target timeline
- Support accounting and reporting for acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions
- Ensure compliance and coordination of internal controls over financial reporting including maintaining documentation and supporting control testing processes
- Interface with internal and external auditors in managing requests concerning processes and deliverables
- Identify and pursue projects to drive continuous improvement in the close and reporting process
- Assist in providing ad hoc reporting and analysis and with various other projects, including cross-divisional initiatives, as required
- Supporting training and professional development of team members; provide timely feedback; assist in developing and prioritizing short- and long-term goals and objectives.
- Oversee compliance with other periodic reporting requirements, including subsidiary reporting, census reports and economic surveys
Requirements :
- Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree majoring in business, finance, or accounting
- At least 5 years of accounting and reporting experience is required with some prior management experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency with U.S. GAAP required, with concepts including consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and foreign currency translation highly beneficial.
- Candidate must exhibit leader qualities, have solid analytical skills; be a collaborator within and across organizational lines in a culturally diverse work atmosphere;
have a positive, team-building management style; have strong interpersonal & communication skills; be proficient with Excel and Word.
Other preferred qualifications, skills, and experience
- Master’s degree or advanced degree in business or accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Experience with accounting and financial reporting and analysis in a multinational publicly listed company
- Experience with OneStream or similar financial reporting tools and Oracle general ledger
Base salary for this position is $110,000-125,000+. T otal compensation for this role will include an incentive plan. Disclaimer : This base pay range is based on US national averages.
