SolidWorks Designer
Our client is a worldwide leader in Design and Manufacturing of Dry Pumps System, in-house servicing of Dry Pumps and Turbo-molecular Pumps.

Summary
Under general supervision, selects appropriate components (mechanical, electrical, electronic assemblies), details the design subassemblies and then documents these designs.
Tests prototypes and production equipment as well as works from project goals and specifications while developing design concepts.
Tasks
- Details designs of subassemblies for pumps, subsystems and accessories.
- Selects appropriate components for designs.
- Tests prototypes of designs and reports results.
- Assists Production, Purchasing, Quality and Planning on mechanical issues. Interfaces with vendors regarding component selection parts problems.
Education
Associate of Science, Drafting and Design degree or equivalent experience.
Experience
- 3+ years of work experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing policies and procedures.
- Strong Customer Relations skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products and support product software (e.g. maintenance program, pump monitoring)
- Good working knowledge and use of design and documentation software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Strong relationship building skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customer.
- Demonstrated teamwork, organizing and communication skills.
Schedule : Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
Pay : Up to $34 / hr. depending on skills and experience
