Job Duties for a HVAC Operations Manager :
- Directly supervise staff including coaching and performance evaluations
- Recruit and hire personnel
- Review technician schedule to ensure optimal utilization of resources
- Oversee implementation of field service tools
- Review daily work reports and start-up submissions
- Manage Warranty process and filter warranty requests from contractors
- Oversee communication between Service Technicians and factories as needed
- Oversee communication between Service Technicians, mechanical and control contractors, and end users when appropriate
- Resolve escalated safety issues and ensure safety program is adhered to by all Service staff
Qualifications for a HVAC Operations Manager
- 20+years of experience as a HVAC Operations Manager (Residential / Commercial)
- New construcsion, Changouts, retrofits
- Strong understanding of HVAC functions
- Strong leadership skills and work ethic is a must
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have stable background / work history to be considered for this position
