Job Summary
Job Description
- Assists in defining and documenting business functions and processes.
- Assists with operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Studies current system practices and designing modifications in an effort to improve outcomes.
- Assists in analyzing the integration of business functions with technology.
- Builds a working knowledge of accounting, procurement, and finance or contract management.
- Assists with business case development and business process reengineering.
- May consult with management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements.
- Assists in conducting cost-benefit analysis.
- Assists with project work plans, project timelines, RPI and RFPs.
- Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED :
- Bachelor's degree or 6 years of professional experience in lieu of degree
- Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.
- Great attention to detail and follow up.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to manage projects, assignments, and competing priorities.
DESIRED :
- Advanced degree.
- Minimum 1 year professional experience with business need documentation.
- Minimum 1 year professional experience with process and procedure design / documentation.
- Minimum 1 year professional experience with the analysis of business execution comparable to existing processes.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
