Clinic Clerk

The Public Health Sector is teaming up with Team1Medical to seek a Clinic Clerk to join their team. As the Clinic Clerk, you will perform various clerical duties to support the WIC Program.

Clinic Clerk’s Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls, check-in / outpatients, schedule appointments, and assist around the clinic.
- Complete and evaluate residency, identification, income, and immunizations eligibility documents.
- Explain WIC Program procedures, use of Texas WIC card, and food benefits to clients.
- Conduct community outreach and provide referrals for clients needing services not provided by WIC.
Clinic Clerk’s Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- One (1) year of clinical or administrative work experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
- Translation services are to be provided; languages other than English are required.
- EMR : Epic experience and Adobe Pro are a strong plus.

- Work Schedule : Monday Thursday, 8 : 00 a.m. 5 : 00 p.m., Fri 8 : 00am 12 : 00pm, One Saturday of the month 8 : 00am 12 : 00pm (The Friday after a worked Saturday is an off day)
