This is a benefited, full time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-4 : 30pm with some flexibility. Located at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla.
Travel to Encinitas required as needed.

Your job duties :
- Perform patient need assessments and develop plan care.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care services to include the administration of medications and educating patients.
- Contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within the RN scope of practice.
- This position will support all four Perinatology locations and seven physicians.

Qualifications
Required Education / Experience / Specialized Skills / Certification :
- Prior OB / GYN RN experience
- Current California Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS from American Heart Association
- Must be able to successfully multi-task and remain calm and professional during hectic times.
Preferred Education / Experience / Specialized Skills / Certification :
- Prior experience in an ambulatory / clinic setting
- RN experience in Perinatology, OB / GYN, & / or Labor & Delivery
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Antenatal testing experience
- GDM certified or willingness to obtain the certification within six months of hire
