Responsibilities and Duties :
- Personal Care : Assist with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, ambulation / transfers, eating, and dressing.
- Meal Preparation : Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
- Companionship : Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments.
- Housekeeping : Perform tasks like vacuuming, dusting, sweeping / mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Incontinence Care : Provide compassionate and respectful care.
- Medication Reminders : Ensure patients take their medications on time.
- Exercise Assistance : Help with prescribed range of motion exercises.
- Special Diets : Measure and prepare special diets as needed.
- Dementia Care : Understand and provide specialized care for dementia patients.
- Overnight Shifts : Must be available to work overnight shifts.
Qualifications and Skills :
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
- Possess a valid driver's license and insured automobile.
- Smartphone required.
- CNA / PCA / HHA Certificate
