Overview :
The Nurse Navigator is a nursing specialist who follows patients across the continuum of care from diagnosis through treatment and into survivorship.
The Navigator coordinates with an advanced level of clinical expertise, all aspects of treatment and care for, and in collaboration with, Mercy’s patients, their family and significant others, physicians, interdisciplinary team, and other support staff.
This specialist performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and with Mercy Signature Service standards.
Qualifications :
- Experience : 2-3 years of experience required
- Required Education : Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Certifications : BLS
- Preferred Education : Advanced Practice / Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Preferred Experience : Formal patient education and community educational presentations Support group facilitation
- Preferred Other : A demonstrated ability to build and share knowledge, to coach and empower others.

- Shift differential 3.25 evenings / 4.00 nights / 4.00 weekends
- Annual certification pay - primary and secondary

- FSA for Dependent Care Expenses - Mercy contributes $1,200 / year for you towards the maximum of $5,000 allowable per year.
