Manager - Accounting Policy

Location : Middlesex County NJ (Hybrid / Remote)
Hybrid - 2 days in office (approx)
Salary : Up to $145K plus bonus and other incentives

Overview
Open due to internal movement. The ideal candidate will possess the CPA, 4+ years technical accounting experience and Big4 experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and direction globally for accounting and reporting needs, including business combinations, revenue, treasury matters, divestitures etc.
- Write white papers and external reporting considerations relating to these transactions.
- Monitor and interpret the impact of new accounting / reporting regulations on the company.
- Lead efforts to implement proposed accounting standards, including meeting key stakeholders.
- Support lease accounting and related disclosures and prepare select financial reporting requirements.
- Train key stakeholders and develop content on new accounting standards
- Establish, maintain and document standard accounting practices and procedures.
- Develop procedures and recommends changes in practices to assure compliance with regulators
Qualifications
- BS / BA degree in Accounting; CPA required
- 4+ years of demonstrated technical accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm
- Experience with performing technical accounting evaluations and preparing related white papers
