HR Specialist-Recruiter

Starting pay $23-$25 hourly

Job Role and Responsibilities

Facilitate a supportive work environment and an engaged workforce consistent with the Woodgrain values and culture.

Collaborate with managers and team members and to assist in resolving workplace issues.

Enter new hire onboarding documents.

Maintain accurate Team Members files.

Manage unemployment claims.

Serve as a resource on human resource policies and processes.

Evaluate and respond to human resource issues, and when appropriate consult with HR team members.

Collaboratively supports other HR team members.

Initiate and maintain HR programs and services (recognition program, team events, monthly safety training).

Act as a resource for HR information.

Assist with preparation of open enrollment materials and organize meetings.

Run a paperless HR function. Look for automated HR solutions.

Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent and fill open positions in a timely manner.

Support the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.

Establish relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs.

Conduct candidate assessments, interviews, and reference checks, providing feedback to applicants.

Develop job postings and manage job boards.

Experience Required

HS diploma required; BS in management, HR or like-degree preferred.

3 plus years of relevant Human Resources experience required.

Proficient in Outlook and Excel.
