Multi-Pass Tack WeldingBurning-Oxygen / Propane Burning Torch.Heating-Oxygen / Propane Heating TorchAbility to comprehend complex structural assembly drawings, blueprints, and sketches to include weld symbols, material types, datum and reference linesComprehend fractional dimensions as with the use of a rulerLayoff piece parts for fabrication and assemblyAssemble structural piece parts in accordance with specifications in a quality mannerExperience working in a physically demanding environment (shipbuilding, steel fabrication, etc.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations relative to the shipbuilding industryUse vibratory tools (grinders and needle guns)Air Carbon Arc GougingAbility to use Work Packages and Drawings to plan and execute workAbility to use Molded Lines and Ship Reference Lines to execute required workErect, Set and Makeup Complex-shaped Shell Plates, Decks, Bulkheads, Longitudinals, trunks, etc.
Install and Replace Hull Inserts and Penetrations, Ability to Install Miscellaneous and Complex Foundations.Requirements :
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Pass background check and urinalysis
- Strong Work Ethic
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
