Lead Generation Specialist
We are seeking a motivated Lead Generation Specialist to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Product Development, the Lead Generation Specialist will play a crucial role in driving our business growth by generating new leads and qualifying potential customers.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who possess strong communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Through outbound prospecting activities, the successful candidate will target, engage, qualify and pursue new leads.
Responsibilities :
- Prospecting and building a pipeline of qualified leads by contacting prospective customers via email, LinkedIn, etc.
- Develop customized outreach based on company and individual contact research
- Craft compelling emails to educate prospects on The DRG's products and services
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and research advisors
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop lead generating and nurturing strategies
- Maintain accurate records of interactions with potential clients using our CRM system
- Report to manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
- Stay informed about industry trends and market developments as well as prospecting best practices
- Qualify leads through effective communication and understanding of customer needs
- Support for other marketing activities as needed
This is not a commission-based role.
Requirements :
- 2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer-facing roles
- Demonstrated knowledge of B2B prospecting best practices
- Proven track record in sales, lead generation, or customer service roles
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field
- Results-driven mindset with a passion for achieving targets
- Demonstrating high degree of motivation, integrity, and competence to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus
- Ability to function both as a collaborative member of a team and a self-starter
- Knowledge of marketing research is a plus
