Associate - Environmental

Greenberg Traurig’s Denver office is seeking an Environmental Associate with 2-4 years of environmental, natural resources law and litigation experience.

Qualified applicants must possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Applicants must also have education and practical experience in the areas of natural resources development, air and water quality, solid and hazardous waste law, water law, and / or federal and state administrative agency law and regulation.

Must be self-motivated, able to meet time-sensitive responsibilities, hard-working, responsive, and a good communicator, flexible, and willing to travel.

Prior experience as a judicial clerk, or at a national law firm, an outstanding local firm, or a federal or state environmental agency, department of justice, or attorney general office is preferred.

Applicants must possess a strong work ethic and be team-minded. Applicants must also be admitted to the Colorado Bar. Other western state bar admissions are also a plus.

The annualized salary range for this position (not including bonus opportunities) is $185k - $205k. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
