Compliance Engineer (Engineering Enablement)

iTalent Digital is seeking a Engineering Enablement Compliance to join our Technology Practice Group. This role is located in RTP, NC.

This is an exciting role for the right individual to continue to cultivate your skills and domain expertise.

The individual selected will be instrumental in helping us continue to deliver excellence to our base of marquee Fortune 500 accounts.

You will be joining a family of other SMEs who have also specialized within this sector.

You will also interact closely with our iTalent Practice Directors, who will partner with you and provide ongoing coaching and mentoring.

The successful applicants will be performing compliance remediation & coordination work for various SRE teams. The primary responsibility will be to address compliance program gaps within the company's systems, networks, and applications.

You will work closely with our Compliance and Engineering Enablement team and the SRE teams to ensure that identified Compliance gaps are closed to protect our assets and data from regulatory breach.

Responsibilities :

  • Owning the necessary Compliance improvement of our Engineering Enablement domain systems (CI Pipelines, Source code, Cloud / Firmware Developer Machines).
  • Ensure that work is broken down and tickets are completed in a timely manner.
  • Identify gaps and suggest improvements to the compliance and system structure.
  • Provide weekly updates to the management about progress of compliance improvement efforts and call out risks.

Required qualifications and skills :

5+ years experience of working on linux based infrastructure

5+ years of experience developing with object oriented programming languages like python and ruby

Experience with compliance programs (PCI-DSS, FedRAMP, SOC1 / 2, Etc.) and Security Framework / Standards (NIST SP800, CSF, etc.)

The successful applicant may also be performing work in FedRAMP moderate environments, and therefore, being a U.S. Person (i.

e. U.S. citizen, U.S. national, US Permanent Resident) is required. This position may also perform work that the U.S. government has specified can only be performed by a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil

Experience with AWS and Google cloud environments

Experience or willingness to work in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills with strong spoken and written English

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
