Key Responsibilities :
Machine Operation :
Operate various types of machinery and equipment, including but not limited to :
Printing presses, label applicators, cutting machines, and packaging equipment.
Setup and Calibration :
- Set up machines, load materials, and adjust settings according to product specifications and production requirements.
- Ensure machines are calibrated for accurate and consistent output.
Quality Control :
- Monitor production processes to ensure product quality meets the company’s standards.
- Perform visual inspections and quality checks at regular intervals.
Maintenance :
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Report any malfunctions or issues to the maintenance team for repairs.
Record Keeping :
Maintain accurate production records, including machine operation logs, quality control data, and production quantities.
Material Handling :
Handle raw materials and finished products carefully, ensuring proper storage and transportation within the facility.
Efficiency Improvement :
Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest enhancements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 10+ years’ experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents, specifications, and work instructions.
- Attention to detail and strong commitment to product quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy materials when required.
