We are seeking a motivated Quality Chemist eager to begin their career in the quality field and contribute to our commitment to excellence.
Job Summary :
The Quality Chemist will play a key role in supporting our quality assurance and control processes in the laboratory. This entry-level position is perfect for a chemist passionate about quality and interested in developing their expertise within the cosmetic industry.
The role involves performing tests, analyzing results, and assisting in the implementation of quality protocols to ensure our products meet regulatory and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct routine testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished cosmetic products to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
Assist in the development and validation of analytical methods specific to cosmetic formulations.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all testing procedures, results, and observations.
Collaborate with production, R&D, and regulatory teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Participate in internal audits and support external regulatory inspections as needed.
Assist in the calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment to ensure consistent and reliable results.
Help implement and maintain quality control and assurance procedures in accordance with GMP, ISO, and other relevant cosmetic industry regulations.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency in the quality department.
Support the preparation, review, and revision of quality documentation, including SOPs, test methods, and batch records related to cosmetic products.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Strong interest in quality assurance and control; prior experience in a quality-related role within the cosmetic industry is a plus but not required.
Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and instrumentation, including pH , viscosity , appearance and stability test methods relevant to cosmetics.
Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Spanish is required; bilingual candidates preferred.
Familiarity with GMP, ISO, and other cosmetic industry quality standards is preferred.
