GPAC has partnered with an exceptional manufacturing company who has been in business for over 45 years. They are looking for their next precision CNC Machinist / Programmer who is ready to tackle complex machining projects.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in CNC machining and programming, particularly with complex projects
- Expertise in operating and setting up multi-axis CNC vertical and horizontal mills, including 4 / 5 axis experience
- Proficiency in using CAD / CAM, and fusion 360 software to create and optimize CNC programs
- Strong understanding of advanced machining techniques and tooling applications
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Skilled in using a variety of precision measuring instruments, including the latest digital and electronic gauges, as well as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
- Must be proficient in G-Code and M-Code programming with the ability to troubleshoot, edit, prove out processes, perform first piece runs, and recommend changes to programs on multi-axis machine tools proficiently.
- Experience with quality control processes and procedures, ensuring all machined parts meet stringent quality standards
- Knowledge of advanced tooling technologies and approach
- Knowledge of Quality Management systems AS9100 and GD&T. Ability of holding tight GD&T tolerancing of .0001
