Known for their collaborative approach and strong local relationships, our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join their dynamic Environmental Planning team.
In this pivotal role, you will drive initiatives that shape the future of environmental planning while mentoring a talented team and expanding the organization’s impact.
Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to) :
- Leading initiatives to grow the environmental planning practices.
- Overseeing team performance and financial goals.
- Mentoring team members and supervising CEQA and NEPA documentation.
- Collaborating with leadership to develop strategies for growth.
- Identifying new business opportunities.
Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role :
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, urban planning, or a related field.
- Minimum of ten years of experience with CEQA and NEPA documentation.
- At least five years of experience leading teams and managing client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of project and financial management in environmental consulting.
- Proven leadership and communication skills, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with a variety of environmental planning projects in California.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits.
- Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create Excel trackers, and be able to use Word and PowerPoint for reporting / presentations via teams or in person.
