Stamford Health is seeking a Senior Reasearch Assoicate to join their team!
- Supervise research of research interns, residents, nursing staff and faculty engaged in clinical research
- Conduct individual and collaborative research projects. Take a lead in the designing, implementation and execution of the project.
- Provide staff training and professional development opportunities
- Recruit study participants; obtain and document informed consent of participants
- Screen potential trial participants through interviews, medical records reviews, and follow-ups with doctors and nurses
- Maintain precise records of research activity to include case reports, informed consent forms, regulatory forms, drug dispensation records, and so on
- Monitor ongoing research activity to maintain compliance with scientific protocols and government regulations
- Collaborate with ethics committees to ensure that research activities adhere to the highest standards
- Conduct literature reviews
- Collect and analyze data
- Verify data, compile reports, and present results
- Seek out opportunities for continuing education
- Writing up results of research and contributing to publishing of results in high quality peer-reviewed academic literature.

- Bachelor's degree in a basic or health science, plus five or more years of relevant experience. OR Master's degree in a basic or health science, plus two or more years of relevant experience.
