The anticipated salary range for this role is between $72,000.00and $85,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire.

SUMMARY :

This position is responsible for assisting the business with coordinating internal and external audit engagements by collecting and providing requested documents, and creating and maintaining supporting documentation, as well as ad hoc reporting associated with those engagements.

In addition, the position is responsible for performing post boarding quality control reviews of new loan boardings, renewals, modifications, extensions, advances, escrow account disbursements, construction loan disbursements, flood and hazard insurance monitoring, payment processing and other various types of adjustable loan processing on the SMBC MANUBANK loan portfolio which includes, SBA Loans, Commercial RE, Business Loans and Participation / Syndication loans.

This position will also be responsible for the quality review of departmental General Ledger (GL) accounts to ensure the quality of the daily and monthly GL balancing.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Responsible for assisting the business with coordinating internal and external audit engagements by collecting and providing requested documents, and creating and maintaining supporting documentation, as well as ad hoc and monthly reporting associated with those engagements.
• Responsible for the quality review of :
• Newly boarded and funded loans on the ACBS loan system
• Loan extension and modifications
• Syndication / Participation daily loan transactions, including but not limited to Payments, Disbursements
• Calculations of Prepayment Penalties
• Tax Service Contract Orders
• Insurance monitoring
• Reconveyances and other collateral releases for paid loans
• Conduct research necessary to address audit issues, general ledger issues, or quality control issues; resolve, and communicate outcome to appropriate parties.
• Respond to inquiries received, and initiate contact with others by phone and mail regarding internal and external audit engagements.
• Responsible for adhering to and complying with all Bank policies and Federal and State banking laws and regulations.
• Comfortable communicating with parent company, and internal and external auditors.
• Recognize potential risks and propose solutions for mitigation.
• Other duties may be assigned.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS :

Education : Bachelor's degree enter ideal degree if desired or equivalent

Skills / Qualifications :

• Minimum five years' experience in Commercial Loan Servicing with concentration on Loan Funding & Boarding, preferably with knowledge of C&I loans, Commercial Real Estate, SBA & Syndication Loans.
• Working knowledge of Commercial Loan documentation, loans systems, operations and general ledger accounting
• Superb organizational skills and detail oriented
• Highly proficient PC skills including MS Excel and Word
• Must be able to plan and monitor activities according to priorities and multi-task.
• Ability to work independently within the scope of responsibilities for the position and completes assignments in a timely manner.
