Senior Electrical Engineer - High Voltage

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking environment, managing complex electrical systems, supporting plant operations, and driving capital projects.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee high-voltage system safety programs, and ensure that engineering support is provided across the plant.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and support high-voltage electrical systems engineering and safety programs.
- Provide electrical engineering support for maintenance, operations, and production areas.
- Develop and implement capital projects, major repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to.
- Manage external vendors providing electrical design and support services.
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-voltage systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with 480VAC power distribution, automation, process control systems, drives, and PLCs.
- Proven leadership in managing and executing electrical projects.
Preferred Qualifications :
- 10 years of experience in high-voltage electrical engineering and system maintenance.
- Expertise in AutoCAD or similar software.
- Experience managing capital projects and maintaining industrial electrical power systems, including transformers and switchgear.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
