The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for completing the day to day tasks in the warehouse Departments.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments from freight forwarding companies. Process any related paperwork
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, determining safe ways of stacking items on the truck, and retrieving items in a safe manner
- Operate all available online and manual shipping systems of all the various shipping vendors.
- Track, modify, and expedite shipments upon request.
- Collaborates with other departments to expedite priority orders and to resolve any issues pertaining the Receiving, Vendor Part Inspections, and Packaging.
- Order filling, preparation, scanning, and packing.
- Assist RMA returns and provide monthly feedback to Management.
- Count items for spot checks or cycle counts to maintain an up-to-date inventory
- Maintain a work area that is clean and tidy
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience :
- Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Moderate to extensive keyboard activity required. Some lifting (up to 50 lbs.) may be required.
