Job Description
SUMMARY :
ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue).
We are looking for a Firearms Material Handling Laborer.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Set up firing ranges as directed by the Student Support Manager or Firearms Rangemaster
- Assist Firearms personnel with loading and unloading of weapons, ammunition, and range supplies
- Assist in quarterly physical inventories.
- Deliver water, box lunches and other items to support classes
- Deliver materials to specified locations based on directions from the Student Support Manager or Firearms Rangemasters to support training
- Maintain duties such as brass sorting and range maintenance
- Willing to be cross utilized in other areas of responsibility, willing to learn additional duties and fill in / execute them as directed by management
- Regularly sweep and organize all Firearms areas
- Shift flexibility to support mission objectives
Requirements
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Must be a US or Naturalized Citizen
- Must have a valid SC driver’s license
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must be able to operate within Microsoft Office, specifically email, Word and Excel
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and pass a drug and physical exam
- Must be able to lift 70lbs
- Must be able to operate a hand truck and / or forklift
- Must be able to process written instructions to set up ranges
Work Schedule :
- Monday-Friday : 6 : 00am-3 : 00pm (Flex as needed but rare)
