    Pay Scale :

    Base Hourly rate of $16.00, with substantial commission opportunities based on overall performance and other factors.

    Automotive service advisors greet customers, listen to their description of the problems or service needed, determine the type of service required and prepare repair orders.

    If a vehicle requires additional repairs not covered in the original order, they estimate the additional cost and telephone the customer for permission to do the work.

    They also advise customers on other available services.

    Summary :

    the Service Advisor acts as liaison for Service Technicians and customers. Our associates are our most valuable resource and growth is encouraged through diligence, teamwork & creativity.

    In this position, youll be able to get out from behind the desk and play an active role in providing our customers with great customer relations.

    As a Service Advisor you would explain the Technicians recommendations and suggest services to keep the customers vehicle in top condition.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

    • Serve as the liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service / repairs are understood by the customer.
    • Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required;

    entering RO into service database system.

    • Provide the client with an accurate estimate of repair or maintenance cost, and / or a minimal diagnostic fee with explanation of associated cost, detailing problems and pertinent information, and secure client authorization of repair or service.
    • Perform a thorough redelivery process, ensuring all client needs have been met, client understands all services performed, and answer any questions that may arise
    • Perform customer service duties such as answer phones, scheduling appointments (where needed), and calling customers to update them on repair status, or to follow up after repairs are completed
    • Develop rapport with clients leading to lasting relationships
    • Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance

    • Must have basic knowledge of cars and maintenance.

    • Self-starter with ability to work well as part of a team or independently
