POSITION SUMMARY :
Performs service and installation activities associated with store products and services in an accurate and timely manner per Jiffy Lube JTSS procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Drives vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
- Drains oil and replaces oil filter.
- Lubricates vehicles.
- Cleans windows.
- Inflates tires.
- Vacuums vehicles.
- Checks and fills various fluids.
- Checks and replaces various filters.
- Writes work orders.
- Look up information in PMM system for various applications.
- Explains services and products to customers.
- Looks up information for various applications.
- Operates point of sale hardware and software.
- Displays positive attitude at all times towards customers and fellow employees.
- Wear PPE equipment, including safety glasses, when required.
- Maintain JTTS certification as directed by Company standards.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS : (In case of short-staffing, as required)
- Answers telephones.
- Stocks shelves.
- Cleans facilities, tools and equipment.
- Greets customers.
- Rings out customers.
PREREQUISITES :
Valid driver's license; ability to reach and work in awkward postures; able to transport oneself from one
work level to another; able to move materials from one height to another; able to read and write; good verbal communication skills.
