Requirements :
- Completion of the Early Childhood courses as designed by the state Child Care authority.
- Meet annual professional development requirements per state regulations.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- A caring individual who enjoys teaching young children.
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Extended periods sitting on the floor.
- Reliable transportation to the Child Care center.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents.
Responsibilities :
- Provide a safe and loving environment for the children in their care.
- Feed children age-appropriate food.
- Change pull-ups as needed.
- Communicate with parents daily through Smartcare.
- Follow curriculum (ABC Jesus loves me) and classroom schedule.
- Supervise children on the floor as they play with age-appropriate toys.
- Put children to sleep for nap time.
- Ensure play, sleep, and changing areas are kept clean.
