National shipping and ocean / air freight company has immediate opening for diverse on-site role combining shipping / warehouse and administrative tasks in one!
The Air Export department is a fast-paced group that needs a person who is accomplished in multi-tasking, in dependability, in efficiency and in flexibility.
SKILLS :
Detail-orientated, and efficient in data entry
Accurate filing of documents
Update and manage spreadsheets
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work with a team
Strong organizational skills are beneficial
Must be able to adjust prioritizes throughout the day
Communicate effectively with vendors, customers and co-workers via email, phone, in person
Responsibilities :
Accurate data entry into AS400 system
Spreadsheet data entry in a timely and accurate manner
Tracking and tracing shipments
Auditing customer and vendor invoices for accuracy
Some accounting skills required to complete daily billing
Filing - ability to manage on a consistent basis
Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with vendors and carriers
Maintain compliance standards at all times - internal policies, government regulations and customer requirements
May need to assist with warehouse freight duties :
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery by : pulling materials, packing according to packaging standards and placing orders in delivery area
- Oversee shipping and receiving when required
- Work with a SAP warehouse Management System
- Check completed orders before they ship out
- Receive and process incoming products
- Locate and relocate products
- Load and / or unload trucks
- Hours may vary to meet the demands of the department
